A memory fragment is a piece of someone's memory. Since the beginning of Code Lyoko, X.A.N.A. has been after a piece of Aelita's memory . In the episode The Key, X.A.N.A. achieved in retrieving the memory fragment from Aelita and used it to escape from the supercomputer.
