A Krab fires its laser.
Lasers are weapons that X.A.N.A.'s monsters use to deal damage to the Lyoko Warriors.
Description
Each monster is armed with at least one sort of laser. Some monsters, like Kankrelats, take time to charge up their lasers. Other monsters, such as Tarantulas, are capable of rapid-fire. A few monsters, like Bloks, have various types of lasers. Most monsters have one laser emitter, usually their Eye of X.A.N.A., but some have more, such as Krabs whos first laser makes the eye of X.A.N.A. when fired.
Damage lasers do depend on the monster and the conditions of our heroes. It also seems likely that X.A.N.A can modulate the power of his monster's lasers. Usually, only one shot is needed to destroy any of the vehicles.
Standard lasers also create a very, very small red shockwave (that deals no damage). However, in the first season (and the first episodes of the second one), it would create a binary colored pattern (like if the floor was going to disappear), this could be caused due to the inactivity time of the supercomputer.
Specialized Lasers
- Bloks are equipped with 3 lasers:
- A standard laser
- A Freeze Ray
- Fire Rings
- Megatanks have a circular laser system, instead of a standard linear system.
