France Télévisions is the French public national television broadcaster. Its channel France 3 was one of the original broadcasters of Code Lyoko. Another one of its channels, France 4, was the original broadcaster of Code Lyoko Evolution. It's owned by the French government.
It runs in the same system that most large broadcasters do, in that main operations happen in one central company, while regional operations, such as advertising and local news, happens with localized contracted companies.
It was formed by merging a number of smaller single-channel broadcasters.
